Main Event Employee App Strategy

Discover and Define

Background: Following the release of the Android and iOS consumer app, Main Event requested a continuation of our research, focused on team member success. The company was in the process of being acquired by Dave & Buster’s, so there was a lot of pressure from our C-suite partners to demonstrate a broad strategy as well as a discrete product.

The Ask: How might the employee side of the consumer app make jobs easier, customers happier, and deliver on ME’s customer experience vision “Every Guest, Every Time?”

Our Approach: We developed hypotheses to test based on our first research engagement and used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to define an MVP product for employees.

Results: We were engaged in continuing to design select concepts and prepared an additional systems and experience report for C-Suite and board members to use post-acquisition.
